Been trying for a while to get some lightning shots... Think I'm on to it,just need some more lightning now.... Storm came right up the Bay from the westard lastnight and passed right over me tucked inside the garage sorta safe and dry. Around about the second last pic the lightning struck the Bay just out back of the garage...about 150yds to waters edge...and after my ears settled I could hear either the water hissing or dropping back into the water. VERY COOL....

Bulb setting, hold shutter open...hit/miss/...fluke...lol Focal Length: 50.0mm (35mm equivalent: 75mm... Exposure Time: 2.580 s Aperture: f/9.5 ISO Equiv.: 200 Whitebalance: Manual Metering Mode: matrix Exposure: Manual Exposure Mode: Auto bracketing Flash Used: No Focal Length: 18.0mm (35mm equivalent: 27mm... Exposure Time: 2.560 s Aperture: f/13.0 ISO Equiv.: 100 Whitebalance: Manual Metering Mode: matrix Exposure: Manual Exposure Mode: Auto bracketing It was quite an accomodating storm really. Would get 5-6 cracks of lightning then one huge set of several. I just sat with cam on tripod finger on shutter button pointed in general direction and when I thought it was going to happen opened the shutter. Was kinda cheating sitting inside the workshop lights off with the door open and in a nice dry comfy chair... These two shots were in fact the tail end of two sets and possibly a couple strikes/flashes in one frame...I think
